Accommodation

The fellow must secure his/her own accommodation and is advised to do so as soon as possible upon knowing about the timing of the fellowship period. The host can recommend guesthouses or serviced apartments close to the clinic.

Upon selection, the fellowship coordinator will be pleased to assist you in arranging accommodation prior to your arrival.

Visa, work permit

Applicants must check visa requirements of the country they plan to visit before applying for the ISAPS Fellowship Program.

Licensure

Licensure is required for active clinical participation. Visiting fellows who are registered may assist and scrub in surgical procedures under supervision but are not permitted to practice independently or undertake on-call duties.

Fellows are required to register on the NMC website prior to participation in clinical procedures.

Transportation

There are many hotels, serviced apartments and guesthouses within short distance of the surgery centre. You can also use Uber or local taxis.
