The Association of German Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons is the largest association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Germany and was founded in 1995 in Leipzig. VDAEPC full members are board certified Plastic Surgeons with a focus of activity in aesthetic surgery. Fellows are board certified for less than 3 years, Juniors are still in training. Every year, the VDAEPC releases statistics on surgical and non-surgical treatments which give an interesting overview over the developments and trends in Aesthetic Surgery in Germany. The VDAEPC cooperates with national and international societies like ISAPS, IMCAS, EASAPS and ASAPS.

The main goals of VDAEPC are:

- Guarantee of quality and competence through strict admission criteria for its members
- Promotion of research and science in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery as well as teaching and continuing medical education
- Quality assurance by supporting members in the area of quality management.

APRASSA’s Plastic Surgeons are board-certified Plastic Surgeons who have completed a post-graduate residency programme. APRASSA Plastic surgeons are located across South Africa and are available to help treat birth disorders, trauma, burns, and disease. The mission of APRASSA is to support its members in their efforts to provide the highest quality plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic/aesthetic care. This objective is achieved by maintaining professional and ethical standards.

The Bangladesh Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BSAPS) is formed by members who are all qualified plastic surgeons, interested in the practice of aesthetic plastic surgery. BSAPS is committed to the practice of safe aesthetic surgery - which can only be ensured by training qualified plastic surgeons, and also providing a safe environment where the surgeries should be performed.

BSAPS have already started conducting meetings and aesthetic surgery workshops in the country. Topics like Fascia Scarpa Sparing Lipoabdominoplasty, Autoaugmentation Mastopexy and Rhinoplasty has been touched. Non surgical procedures like Botox, Lasers and Microneedling has also been included in the workshops. BSAPS has been officially registered in the Joint Stock Companies and Firms of Bangladesh in November 2019. In addition to 31 local members BSAPS has a number of overseas members as well.

BSAPS fully endorse the view of ISAPS, that residents in plastic surgery should be allowed more exposure to aesthetic surgery during their residency period. For this reason we happy that plastic surgery residents can now become Resident Members for free. We have planned to publish BSAPS Journal twice a year, where our members will write articles in order to share their experiences in aesthetic surgery. The first issue is already published and the second and third issues will be out this year.

During the ISAPS Symposium in Bruges, Belgium in October 2019, BSAPS signed an agreement and became an ISAPS Global Alliance member. With this alliance we will feel encouraged to uphold the global standards in the practice of safe aesthetic surgery in our country.

Bulgarian Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BULAPRAS) is the official medical organization of plastic surgeons in Bulgaria. BULAPRAS was founded in 2000 and currently represents 51 active members (certified plastic surgeons) and 18 associated (plastic surgery residents).

BULAPRAS aims to provide quality and safe medical services in the scope of plastic and aesthetic surgery in our country. The association supports the education and training on plastic surgery by organizing various scientific activities, including regular thematic meetings and trainees annual award for best scientific presentation.

BULAPRAS is an active partner of all governmental structures and institutions in favour of composition and actualization of plastic surgery medical standards, code of ethics, rules for best medical practice and other regulatory documents. Bulgarian Society of plastic surgeons is motivated to promote our specialty and maintain high quality of patient care through continuous education, innovations and ethics.

The Chilean Society of Plastic Surgery (SCCP) is a non-profit scientific medical group that aims to oversee the best quality of training, certification and care of plastic surgeons in Chile. It is made up of more than 150 plastic surgeons, all accredited and/or certified in the country or abroad with their titles approved by the state of Chile. Within its mission is to allow all patients to identify and choose the most scientifically and ethically qualified professionals when planning for aesthetic or reconstructive plastic surgery. It also provides medical education to its members with the latest in world plastic surgery through monthly scientific meetings, courses and congresses.

CSAS currently has 110 members. All members are plastic surgeons. Only plastic surgeons can be members of the society. In cooperation with ISAPS we have organized 4 ISAPS VPP. The guests were F. Nahas, J Hunstad, J. Erfon Ramos and M. Pelle-Ceravolo. The chairman of the CSAS is M.D. Vladimir Marik.

The German Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC) is the professional representative body and scientific society for plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Germany. It was established in 1968 as the Association of German Plastic Surgeons (VDPC) and was renamed in 2005. The Society has approximately 2000 Members. The society closely cooperates with political parties and the German Medical Association in favour of consumer protection. This cooperation resulted in the official title: “Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon”, saving the term “aesthetic” as a brand name, which can be used by plastic surgeons only as an official speciality title. It also resulted in a new law in 2006 with a ban on advertisement for aesthetic surgery.

The society holds scientific meetings, runs training courses, awards scholarships and grants and publishes the Journal “Plastische Chirurgie”. One goal of the society is to preserve Public Health by promoting and developing Plastic Surgery. A challenge of the society is to encourage all fields of plastic surgery in scientific and practical aspects. Therefore it cooperates and has a constant dialogue with other national societies of plastic and aesthetic surgeons. One further goal is to optimize the quality of the professional training as well as the post graduated training within the European guidelines and to advance education in all aspects of Plastic Surgery.

The purpose of EASAPS is to serve our member societies and European aesthetic plastic surgeons promoting the European spirit.They collect and share relevant information on topics such as aesthetic plastic surgery training, aesthetic education, patient safety, high ethical standards, BIA-ALCL, implant registries, plastic surgeon directories, VAT, legal issues, etc,. The Hellenic Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS), founded in 1969, is a non-profit Scientific Association and represents the majority of plastic surgeons in Greece. The main objective of HESPRAS is the promotion of the specialty by the dissemination and strengthening of research, the organization of all kinds of scientific events, the cooperation with other scientific bodies in Greece and abroad, the supervision and faithful observance of laws and regulations concerning the duties and rights of Plastic Surgeons, and its participation in all scientific matters concerning the specialty.

The Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS) is the only representative organisation of qualified Plastic Surgeons practising Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in India whose members have special interest in improving how you look. They are dedicated to the promotion of highest professional standards and technical skills in cosmetic surgery. It is their duty to educate the regional public about cosmetic surgery along with benefits as well as limitations. They also offer all options to a given patient and help them choose an option to suit their needs.

The Iranian society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons was established in 1955 with the help of pioneers in this field and has been benefited by training of world-renowned scholars such as Professor Paul Tessier, Joe Murry (Nobel Laureate), and Professor Mission. The current organization of this association includes elite surgeons who have completed a full course of general surgery and will complete a full course of plastic surgery after completing a full specialty course of general surgery. After which they will receive the degree of plastic specialist (plastic surgeon).

The Jordanian Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (JSPRS) is a non-profit plastic surgery specialty organization, committed to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of plastic surgery in Jordan for the benefit of patients and member surgeons. The RBSPS unites officially recognised plastic surgeons with a diploma in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as candidates in training in this specialty. They ensure the quality and the safety of the care for the patients who undergo medical or surgical interventions in Belgium, whether they are of reconstructive or aesthetic nature. To this end, it encourages and supports high standards of training, ethics and good practice. The Dominican Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SODOCIPRE) is the institution that groups Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeons of the Dominican Republic. The society brings together a select group of plastic surgeon specialists under faithful compliance with the current laws and codes of ethics of the Dominican Medical College and FILACP.
