Dr. Ozan Sozer is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery with over 20 years of experience. He is known worldwide for his unique surgical techniques and innovations. and has educated his medical peers in a number of cities in Europe, South America, North America and Asia. Dr. Sozer also writes articles for publications and is the author of the Multidisciplinary Microsurgery Manual.
The visitor will have hands-on experience in the operating room and also will be exposed to pre and post-surgical care of the patients. The practice also has two locations of busy medical spas where various non-invasive treatments are offered. The visitor will also be encouraged to participate in ongoing studies for publications. Additionally, the visitor will learn about the management of a busy private practice and different strategies of marketing.
EPCS is a single plastic surgeon practice. Over 800 general anesthesia cases (around 1200 cosmetic procedures) are performed in the onsite surgery centre. The majority of the surgeries consist of breast and body contouring, but a fair amount of facial surgery is performed.
As this is an observership, the visit can last for 1 week to 2 months.
The visitor must be a senior resident in plastic surgery or a fully trained plastic surgeon.
The ISAPS Expert program does not provide a salary.
Housing will not be provided during your visit.
