Sustainability

ISAPS is committed to promoting responsible consumption and create a more environmentally friendly and ethically compliant event experience.

Our Commitment

ISAPS is committed to supporting Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 which aims to advance Singapore’s national agenda on sustainable development and focuses on building a more sustainable future for all. ISAPS is focused on creating an environmentally friendly Congress and have therefore taken significant actions to ensure we are aligned with these sustainable efforts.

By adopting this approach, we aim to promote responsible consumption and ensure an ethically compliant event experience.

Sands Exhibition & Convention Centre, our chosen Congress venue, is a leading sustainable events venue in Asia and has been awarded for their efforts. They are committed to rigorous sustainability standards and are supporting us in our efforts to organise a high-impact event with low environmental impact. What We're Doing

Bags: We will not be providing physical tote bags at the ISAPS Olympiad World Congress 2025, Singapore. This aligns with regulations that limit promotional items at educational events while also reducing waste and minimizing our environmental impact. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own bags.

Paper Flyers: We are recommending that all organisations refrain from bringing paper flyers to promote their company, products and/or services. Instead, we will be creating an “e-bag” facility whereby delegates can access these flyers digitally via a QR code.

Reusable Cups: We will be providing reusable coffee cups for all attendees on arrival. These can be used throughout the week at any of the coffee carts in lieu of disposable cups.

Water Stations: We will have a number of large water stations where delegates can help themselves when required. In certain circumstances where water bottles are required, we will be using reusable glass bottles rather than single use plastic bottles.

Lanyards: We are encouraging all attendees to return their lanyards to us via a drop box facility at the end of the Congress so that they can be reused at future events.
