Dr. Kai Kaye is a Plastic surgeon with a main focus on research and publication on aesthetic surgery of the face. Besides this main field, the Ocean Clinic offers a whole range of aesthetic surgery for the breast and the body.
The clinic is also a clinical trial center for multiple safety studies on injectables and minimal invasive devices on a regular basis, fellows are encouraged to participate in the research activities. Moreover, the clinic trains residents and receives students on a regular basis, so fellows are expected to participate in teaching.
The clinic is a major surgery outpatient center with its own operation facilities. It also has two affiliated clinics in Madrid and Zurich which can be visited during the fellowship.

Licensure
Visiting fellows may scrub but are not eligible to work unsupervised or do calls without holding a Spanish medical license or homologation of a foreign license. European fellows can apply quite easily and quickly for the homologation of any European National doctor's license at the Spanish Ministry of Education.
Transportation
The access point to Marbella is Malaga Airport (AGP), from where the city can be reached by bus or car in 45 min. High-speed train lines link Málaga to Madrid and Barcelona.
