Abstracts

Information about the submission of abstracts for the World Congress 2024, Cartagena including topics and types of presentation.

The ISAPS Scientific Committee invites you to submit your work as an abstract for presentation during the 28th ISAPS World Congress, to be held in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), between 11 and 15 June 2024.

Abstracts will be accepted into the following topic tracks and may be considered for oral presentation, rapid fire panel discussions or poster sessions:

  • Body
  • Breast
  • Face & Neck
  • Non surgical (including regenerative medicine, minimally invasive, injectables, business school)
  • Other Surgical (including genital, transgender, etc)
  • Rhinoplasty

To submit your abstract, choose your topic and prepare an abstract of a maximum of 500 words. Each abstract must be a completed study, clinical case or new technique. Abstracts must be original presentations and will be held to CME compliance standards.

The deadline for submissions was  November 6, 2023 6PM EST time. Call for papers is now closed.

Submissions will be subject to blind peer-review by the Scientific Program Committee and will be allocated to sessions based on objective scoring on quality, clinical relevance and originality.

Submission is open to any plastic surgeon: whether a regular ISAPS speaker, or a newly qualified surgeon, your work will be considered.

Best scored abstracts will be eligible for consideration for ISAPS Scientific Awards.

Early career surgeons (residents or those within 3 years post qualification) may elect to be considered for our junior surgeons Best Paper Awards.
