The ISAPS World Congress 2025, Singapore, 19/06/2025 - 21/06/2025 has been granted 19 European CME Credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).

This accreditation includes the Recording Option which is an extension of the accreditation of the educational material made available On Demand. The validity of this accreditation is for a maximum of six months after the educational activity has taken place.

“The ISAPS World Congress 2025, Singapore, Singapore 19/06/2025 - 21/06/2025, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 19.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”

“Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications .

“Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.”

EACCME® credits
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form.

The number of available (ECMEC®s) per day are noted below:

19/06/2025 - 7.0 Credits
20/06/2025 - 7.0 Credits
21/06/2025 - 5.0 Credits

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0.5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of ECMEC®s per day as noted above.

People viewing the recordings during the six-month period after the event has taken place are entitled to CME credits, in the same way as the participants to the live event.

The credits are granted, as for the live event, on the basis of actual “participation”, i.e. how many hours of CME the participants have viewed.

The maximum number of credits granted for watching the recordings will be the same as for the live event and cannot exceed this number whatever the number of sessions attended or viewed. A participant may not obtain credits for participating at the live event and watching the same sessions as recordings.

Information regarding the conversion of EACCME® credits
Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.amaassn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA. For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.

Please note that to receive a CME certificate (valid for in-person and on-demand participants), it is compulsory to complete the following:

  • evaluation form for each session(s) you attended in-person or viewed on demand
  • overall event evaluation

Singapore Medical Council
Singaporean doctors requiring Singapore CME accreditation will need to apply directly to the Singapore Medical Council after the event, using their ISAPS 2025 Certificate of Attendance.
