ISAPS Visiting Professor Program Brings World-Class Education to New Delhi

Dr. Kai Kaye Leads Two-Day Educational Program
at All India Institute of Medical Sciences

Dr. Kai Kaye visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, as part of the ISAPS Visiting Professor Program (VPP), where he led a two-day course on facial aesthetic surgery.

The program took place during the World Plastic Surgery Day 2026 celebrations on July 17 and 18. Residents joined for hands-on learning with live surgeries, case discussions, and detailed lectures. By sharing advanced techniques and working closely with participants, the workshop encouraged professional exchange and supported the growth of aesthetic plastic surgery in the region.

Program Summary:
- 2 full days in AIIMS Delhi, the top-ranked academic plastic surgery unit in India
- 25 residents and 9 faculty trained
- 6 in-depth live surgeries (2x facelift endonasal vs open; transconjunctival blepharoplasty vs open; secondary rhinoplasty; and gynecomastia)

Dr. Kaye’s visit highlights the mission of the ISAPS VPP, which is to provide intensive, hands-on training for residents. The primary purpose of the program is to bring the best educators in aesthetic surgery to regions around the world that may otherwise never be exposed to modern surgical and non-surgical aesthetic surgery training.

The VPP offers more than just lectures. It creates lasting opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing among surgeons around the world. This program shows ISAPS’ commitment to supporting the next generation, promoting education across borders, building surgical skills, improving patient safety, and shaping the future of aesthetic plastic surgery.

ISAPS thanks Dr. Ashish Davalbhatka, ISAPS Board Member and National Secretary for India, for his warm hospitality and vital support in making this educational visit possible.
