In celebration of World Health Day (April 7, 2026), we are excited to introduce the new ISAPS Humanitarian Award, which recognizes extraordinary humanitarian and outreach contributions in plastic surgery—work that restores dignity, rebuilds lives after trauma, or ongoing projects that expand access to high-quality surgical care in underserved communities worldwide. 

This award honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment and made a meaningful impact through outreach initiatives, and it affirms that excellence in ISAPS includes scientific and artistic skill, compassion, integrity, and global responsibility.
