ISAPS Visiting Professors, Dr. Gustavo Abrile from Argentina and Dr. Zekeriya Tosun from Türkiye, recently visited the National University in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where they led an intensive VPP Program focused on plastic and aesthetic surgery.

Prof. Sultan Tukeshov, Chief of the Plastic Surgery Service and President of the Kyrgyzstan Society of Plastic Surgery (KSPS), hosted the program, which brought together 42 residents from Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Russia.

 
The interactive program featured a live surgery session and addressed a range of topics, including breast reconstruction and aesthetics, liposuction, surgical interventions for patients with significant weight loss, craniofacial and chest malformations, and regenerative medicine.

We thank Drs. Gustavo Abrile and Zekeriya Tosun, Chair and Co-Chair, respectively, of the Residents Education & E-Learning Committee, for generously sharing their expertise and dedication to training the next generation of plastic surgeons.
