ISAPS Board of Directors Meet 2026 in Cancun

Strategic Discussions and Congress Planning:
ISAPS Board of Directors Meet in Cancun, 2026

Recently, the ISAPS Board of Directors gathered in Cancun, Mexico, for one of its regular Board meetings. These meetings play an essential role in guiding the Society’s strategic direction and ensuring that ISAPS continues to serve its global community of members effectively.

Bringing together global leaders in aesthetics, the Board meetings provided an opportunity to review the achievements of the past five years against the strategic plan, discuss priorities for the next five years, and align on key decisions that support ISAPS’ mission: advancing aesthetic education worldwide for the safety of our patients.

During the meeting in Cancun, the Board focused on several important areas. Central to the discussions was the continued development of ISAPS’ global educational initiatives, including courses, training opportunities, and knowledge-sharing platforms designed to support plastic surgeons at every stage of their professional journey.

Another major focus was the preparation for the upcoming ISAPS World Congress 2026, which will take place in Cancun this October, 27-31. As the Society’s flagship event, the World Congress brings together leading experts, innovators, and plastic surgeons from across the globe to exchange knowledge, present the latest advancements, and strengthen the international aesthetic surgery community.

Being on site in Cancun also allowed the Board and the ISAPS Event Team to review the Congress venue and further refine the meeting planning. These on-site discussions help ensure that the World Congress will provide a valuable and engaging experience for all attendees.

Beyond operational planning, the meeting also reinforced the collaborative spirit that defines ISAPS. By bringing together diverse perspectives from across continents, the Board continues to shape initiatives that reflect the needs of a truly global membership.
