ISAPS: Congratulations on having the most downloaded article in the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal last year! What does it mean for you to receive this award?
AMARAL: Receiving this award is deeply meaningful to me—not only as a recognition of the scientific rigor behind the Vectorial Lift Technique, but also as a celebration of a journey built with passion, purpose, and collaboration. The fact that this article resonated with so many professionals around the world confirms that we are moving toward a new era in aesthetic medicine—one that values anatomical precision, tissue regeneration, and long-term outcomes. It’s an immense honor to be part of this transformation and to contribute to elevating the standard of care in our field.

ISAPS: From your perspective, why is this article the most downloaded, and why is the Vectorial Lift Technique in high demand?
AMARAL: The Vectorial Lift Technique introduces a paradigm shift in facial rejuvenation. Unlike traditional approaches, it offers a tridimensional, layered strategy using calcium hydroxyapatite, allowing for structural support, neocollagenesis, and immediate lifting—often in a single session. The method is based on anatomical vectors, deeply rooted in dissection studies and clinical observation. I believe the high demand stems from the technique’s reproducibility, its scientific foundation, and the growing interest among injectors in combining aesthetic precision with regenerative results. Professionals are searching for techniques that go beyond volume, and the V-Lift delivers exactly that.

ISAPS: You received the award at the ISAPS Olympiad World Congress Awards Ceremony. What makes the ISAPS Congress unique? Why is it important to attend?
AMARAL: The ISAPS World Congress is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together the most respected minds in aesthetic surgery and medicine from across the globe. What makes it truly unique is its commitment to scientific excellence, anatomical knowledge, and multidisciplinary exchange. Being part of this community, whether presenting research, attending lectures, or engaging in meaningful dialogue, broadens our vision and keeps us aligned with the highest standards. Receiving this award at the ISAPS Olympiad was not only a career milestone but also a reminder that innovation grounded in science has the power to impact lives worldwide.
