We encourage members to upgrade their membership after each career transition to ensure they continue to receive the most relevant support and benefits from ISAPS.

Why Upgrade your ISAPS Membership?

ISAPS offers membership options to support surgeons at every stage of their professional journey. Whether you are a resident, an early-career surgeon, or an experienced practitioner, we have a membership option tailored to your needs.

Associate Membership:    

Surgeons who have completed their plastic surgery residency and have been in practice for less than three years are eligible to upgrade to ISAPS Associate membership. This membership category is ideal for those in the early stages of their career. You may remain an Associate member for up to three years after completing your residency.

 There are six categories of ISAPS Associate membership:

Associate Eco, Associate Eco+, Associate Premium, Associate Business, Associate Upper and Associate First Class.

Active Membership:    

Surgeons who have been in practice for more than three years should upgrade to ISAPS Active membership. Once you have been in practice for three years, continuing as an Associate member limits your benefits and does not fully represent your professional status. Upgrading to Active membership ensures your membership matches your career stage.

There are five categories of ISAPS Active membership:

Active Eco, Active Eco+, Active Business, Active Upper and Active First Class.

Detailed Instructions for Paying For Your ISAPS Membership

Your application to upgrade your ISAPS Membership will be processed and reviewed by the National Secretaries of your country. Once approved, you will be informed and sent links for payment. 

Please follow the steps below once you receive confirmation of approval:

1. Login via our membership portal

2. Click the 'View Membership' button on the left

3. Click the 'ISAPS Membership' button under 'Membership Store'

4. Select the preferred ISAPS membership for 2026 (Do not select the 'Payment by Wire Transfer' box if paying by credit card)

5. Tick the 'I have read and I accept the Terms and Conditions' box

6. Click the button on the next page for the method (we recommend paying by Credit Card)

7. Tick the ‘Click to Enrol in Auto-Renew’ check box to automatically renew your membership next year.

8. Complete all the payment details on the next page

9. Then click the 'Pay' button at the bottom of the page
