When it comes to practice management software, there are three types to choose from. Knowing each type can help you decide which software is right for your needs.
Native systems: custom-built platforms that grant you complete control, but tend to be more expensive.
OS-dependent systems: these work for specific devices and operating systems (i.e. Mac or Windows) and are a one-time purchase, but you may need to pay for ongoing maintenance and support.
Cloud-based systems: these allow you to access the system anywhere, from any computer.
