We made it! The first Fundamental Aesthetic Surgery Training (FAST) program module was a huge success. The first of a three-part series, the first-ever FAST program was held in Moscow, Russia and focused specifically on facial aesthetic surgery. The event involved two days of intense training on basic facelift techniques and periorbital rejuvenation as well as rhinoplasty.

The international faculty included ISAPS Education Council Chair Vakis Kontoes, President-Elect Nazim Cerkes, President Dirk Richter, Residents and Fellows Chair Maria Wiedner, and Kai Kaye. ISAPS received a warm welcome from the local authorities in plastic surgery, including Natalia Manturova, Konstantin Lipsky, and Kirill Pshenisnov. Local faculty included Alexander Nerobeev, Vitaly Zholtikov, and Vadim Zelenin.

The next module of the ISAPS FAST program will be on the 24th and 25th of May and cover the fundamentals of aesthetic breast surgery. We would like to thank the Russian organizers and hosts, Vakis Kontoes, and the entire faculty for making this event such a success!
