In response to the Syrian refugee crisis, ISAPS-LEAP Surgical Relief Teams missions are currently underway.
The fourth volunteer team has now deployed to Amman, Jordan for a week-long surgical mission to work with the Treating the Wounded Syrian Program hosted by the Dar Al-Salam Hospital. We have confirmed an additional nine plastic and reconstructive surgical teams from around the world to be deployed over the next six months to treat wounded Syrians. We remain committed to sending teams to Jordan indefinitely as the ongoing Syrian conflict continues to spiral further downward.
