The ISAPS Women Surgeons Committee actively promotes leadership positions for women – aiming to increase female representation in academia and in medical business, globally. The goal of the Committee is to create an empowering space where both men and women surgeons are invited to discuss and support the increased presence of female surgeons in a statistically male-dominated industry. The Committee emphasizes equity and encourages male surgeons to join in and lend their valuable insight into achieving equal representation for all surgeons.
