Hydration and Restructuring of the Vulvovaginal Mucosa

Vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid

It is done with commercial preparations composed of different vitamins such as ascorbic acid and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to hydrate the tissues.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP has the potential to be a non-hormonal treatment in patients with sexual dysfunction, producing an increase in collagen formation and neovascularization of the vaginal mucosa. Although a reduction in pain, dryness of the vaginal mucosa, and chronic fissures has been seen, more studies are needed to estimate the duration of the effect more precisely. In a pilot study carried out by Runnels et al, it was found that vaginal and intraclitoral injections of PRP could be effective in the treatment of certain types of female sexual dysfunction, especially in the areas of desire, arousal, lubrication, and orgasm.

Micro and Nanofat

There are many ways to rejuvenate the vulvovaginal area. However, micro and nanofat offer significant and long-lasting improvement, being an autologous treatment that integrates into the tissues without producing serious side effects. An improvement has been seen in the vaginal health index and in sexual function, mainly attributable to the improvement of trophism and mucosal atrophy.
